Life is full of things that are out of this world, and there’s wonder, joy, mystery, excitement, energy, help, and healing for all to experience.

Nurture: Mind, Body and Spirit brings together the work of dozens of the area’s holistic health professionals for a magic-packed day that’s fun for everybody (and supports a good cause too).

Nurturing Necessities, a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, is the “hostess with the mostest”, and we are proud to work with them because they are a giver in many regards. The local charity provides gently used clothing, blankets, toys, and other baby related items to low income families in Lake and McHenry Counties. Their work helps alleviate financial strain on the families they help, while keeping these reusable items out of landfills. Visit www.nurturingnecessities.org to see all the great work they do.

Then, plan on stopping by Mixin Mingle on Saturday 8/23/14 any time between 10am and 3pm, and you will meet people you’ve never met, and be able to try something that’s out of this world (and may just make the hair on your arms stand up!). Admission is free. Winners for the raffle will be announced hourly.
